PillarLIFT 1-2-3 is a prefabricated grinder package system for new sewer installs and retrofit/repair applications. The three models (PL-1, PL-2, PL–3) come complete in a 100 gallon pump tank that is vacuum tested and ballasted with an anti-flotation concrete bottom. Grinder pumps are installed on a guide rail, creating ease of service to the system. The control panel and floats are rated for the grinder pump that accompanies the system.
The PillarLIFT 1-2-3 was designed with ease of installation and serviceability in mind. While the 100 gallon tank creates emergency storage volume if the grinder pump fails, time is still an issue. With a plug-and-play design, the grinder pump can be replaced with most any grinder pump from your local supply house. As long as the pump meets the Total Dynamic Head (TDH) and Gallons per Minute (GPM) flow designed for the system, then most any 115V or 230V grinder pump will substitute for the replacement. This allows for little down time when needing to replace a pump fast.
The PillarLIFT 1-2-3 is also great for upgrades, retrofits or repairs. Sometimes in dealing with existing conditions, sewer stub-outs can be unpredictable when it comes to inlet pipe elevations. Extendable risers on the PillarLIFT 1-2-3 allow for the unit to be set deeper in the ground if needed, creating flexibility for the designer, supplier and contractor. No need for pin-point accuracy when it comes to getting the inlet elevation and grade elevation for the access lid just right.
